First thing I would like to say before you all read this is I tried my best to sort and make it easy to read however when dealing with this many webs it is harder to do then it sounds,..

I have spent the last few days of course chasing down leads on DD hints dropped by a IR guy.. lol

Because of this it made me want to revisit some older posts I thought could be made into more,. like noahltl posting on UC's involvement in other companies,..

Well thanks to noahltl I have the chance to do so as his listing was better then my own.

598909 Saskatchewan and Northern Saskatchewan claims:Pursuant to an agreement dated January17, 1994, the Company acquired a 50% interest in 15 mineral claims located in the Province of Saskatchewan. As consideration the Company paid $15,000 and issued 100,000 shares. In addition, the Company incurred approximately $24,000 of exploration expenditures. The claims are subject to a 1% net smelter return and a 3% gross overriding royalty. Pursuant to agreements dated February 22, 1994, the Company acquired a 100% undivided interest in 43 mineral claims known as Northern Saskatchewan claims located in the Province of Saskatchewan. As consideration, the Company paid $25,000 and issued 200,000 shares. The claims are subject to a 1% netsmelter return and a 3% grossoverriding royalty.Pursuant to the agreements dated April 8, 1994 and March 15, 1995, the Company optioned 50% of its interest in four of the 598909 Saskatchewan claims and 32 of the Northern Saskatchewan claims.

As consideration, the Company received 35,000 common shares of WarEagle Mining Company Inc. and 35,000 common shares of Great Western GoldCorp. (“Candle Lake Joint Venture”).Further, Kennecott Canada Inc. agreed to incur expenditures on these claims as part of the Candle Lake Joint Venture to earn a 60% interest which would leave the Company with a 10% interest. The total work commitment requirementby Kennecott Canada Inc. on the CandleLake Joint Venture was $8,000,000. During the year ended March 31, 1998,Kennecott Canada Inc. abandoned the project. During the year ended March 31,1999, the Company abandoned these claims and accordingly, the acquisition cost and related deferred exploration costs have been written-off.(f) Tobin Lake Area claims:Pursuant to an agreement dated January24, 1994, the Company acquired a 25% interest in mineral claim S105084 located in the Tobin Lake Area, Province of Saskatchewan.

As consideration, the Company issued 38,400 shares and agreedto issue an additional 38,400 shares in the event that kimberlite is intersected at bedrock on the property. The claim is subject to a 3% gross overriding royalty.Under the terms of the agreement, the Company had the right to acquire 50% of the gross overriding royalty for$1,500,000. During the year ended March31, 1998, management decided toabandon these claims. Accordingly, the acquisition cost of $23,808 was written off.(g) Mary Dale Property:Pursuant to an agreement dated June 13,1994, the Company acquired a 100% interest in three mineral claims located in the Northern Mining District, Province of Saskatchewan. As consideration, theCompany paid $10,000 and issued 100,000shares. The claims are subject to a 3%gross overriding royalty. Again due to the date I am unable to find the deal itself... but I did find that they did seem to be in the same areas together in the past,.. so it would make sense they probably sold properties to one another..

Sierra Leone Plans for Diamond Expansion

The Republic of Sierra Leone's President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah marked the first anniversary of his country's peace by vowing to transform the diamond industry. He spoke at the June 20 state opening of the second session of the second Parliament. While acknowledging that the diamond industry has not brought under full control the problems of "smuggling, exploitation, cheating and chaos," Kabbah said "the government is committed to bringing about a well-regulated and transparent diamond mining and trading regime for the benefit of the state and people of Sierra Leone."

Kabbah spelled out three measures the government was taking on advice from the World Bank and industry experts. They include:
• Enforcing existing diamond mining and trading legislation and empowering the Sierra Leone police as the primary body for the enforcement of that legislation.
• Inviting an international diamond mining company to determine and recommend the conditions which must be implemented in order to bring maximum revenue to Sierra Leone.
• Regularly publishing the value of diamonds exported, the tax funds raised and the disposal of that revenue.

Kabbah said he commissioned a high-resolution magnetic survey in April, carried out by the Africa Diamond Holdings Ltd. This survey covered the Koinadugu and Kono districts. Similar surveys of the rest of the country are planned. One objective of these surveys is to determine the extent of existing Kimberlite diamond deposits and discover new ones.

Interesting although halted from TSX they still appear to be growing as a large company now searching for diamonds in Africa.

If you check on Dr. Paul Shatzko, MD, you find that he is a member of the company Gee-Ten Ventures Inc. Its mission is to develop both gold and diamond mining projects at the international level and to put the necessary factors into play to finance and bring economically promising projects to terms.

The Company currently concentrates most of its efforts on major diamond projects in Africa. Which just so happens to be where Fipke told people today to mine for Diamonds,.. Fipke and Shatzko worked together as well on other projects,.. but on this Gee-Ten Ventures Inc. Bill Jarvis is the Geologist.
