Ground Geophysics Completed
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mr. Dale W. Hoffman, President of JNR Resources Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to report that ground geophysical surveys have been completed on the Black Lake and Cyprian - Newnham uranium projects in the Athabasca Basin area of northern Saskatchewan. The surveys were conducted by Zonge Engineering and Research Organization of Tucson, Arizona, under the supervision of Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc.(JNR Resources’ alliance partner). Drilling has commenced on the Black Lake property with a five hole program planned, depending on ice conditions.
On completion of drilling on Black Lake, the crew will move to the Cyprian - Newnham property, where an all-weather camp has been constructed, and where drill sites are currently being constructed. Drill targets are mainly land based, and will test the likely source area for uranium found in soils in the Karen Lake area. Values in soils range to a high of 1.4% uranium..
The Cyprian - Newnham property will soon be accessible by an all-weather road presently being constructed from Points North to Stoney Rapids.
Further information will be released as it becomes available.
