Major Geochemical Survey Completed
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mr. Dale W. Hoffman, President of JNR Resources Inc. (the "Company"), is pleased to report that all of the samples collected in this summer's boulder sampling program have been chemically analyzed for selected major and trace elements by the Saskatchewan Research Council ("SRC"). In excess of 4,600 samples were taken from eight areas and included follow-up sampling in areas of anomalous clay alteration and trace element enrichment. This extensive geochemical survey, one of the largest to be completed in a single field season, is a major initiative in the strategic alliance between the Company and Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc., formed to explore for uranium in the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan. Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rio Tinto PLC of London, U.K., the largest mining company in the world.
All lithogeochemical analyses were completed by the SRC, and Dr. Steven Earle, of Grasswood Geoscience, is currently interpreting the results from each of the properties. Results from PIMA reflectance spectral analysis, now being compiled are being integrated with the lithogeochemical results. An interpretive summary of this work will be presented in due course.
