As a result of a review by the British Columbia Securities Commission, we are issuing the following news
release to clarify our disclosure.
Financial Statements
The Company’s interim financial statements for April 30, 2004 and July 31, 2004 have been amended and re-filed
to: (i) properly reflect the Company’s holding of cash reserves; (ii) expand on disclosure regarding
accounting policies, subsequent events, investments, share capital, commitments, flow-through matters, and
stock options; (iii) reflect NI 51-102 disclosure requirements that such statements were subject to a review
engagement by the Company’s auditors.
Revised financial statements can be viewed under the Company’s profile on SEDAR (www.sedar.com).
Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A)
The Company’s MD&A for the periods ended April 30, 2004 and July 31, 2004 have been amended and re-filed
to comply with the requirements of Form 51-102F1, including expanding the analysis of its operations,
expenditures, capital resources, and changes in accounting policies. The amended and restated MD&A can be
viewed under the Company’s profile on SEDAR.
Technical Report
The Company’s technical report entitled “Geological Report on the Moore Lake Project” by David Billard,
P.Geo., dated November 15, 2003, has been revised and re-filed on SEDAR so as to fully comply with NI 43-101.
The conclusions and recommendations remain unchanged, but additional disclosure was added such that
each item under NI 43-101 was discussed, including how grade equivalent (%eU3O8) are calculated for drill
holes, and a detailed breakdown of costs for the next phase of recommended work.
Website
The Company has revised and updated its corporate website to: (i) remove references to metal grade
equivalents for neighbouring uranium mining properties; (ii) disclose a description of the Company’s quality
assurance program and quality control measures applied during work programs; and (iii) remove or archive
third party articles that are out-of-date.
Processes for Determining Uranium Content
The BCSC also required the Company to explain why there are material differences in the analytical results
between chemical assays and crystal probes, as presented in the Company’s March 3, 2004 news release.
Exploration for uranium deposits typically involves the identification of graphitic conductors and structure
using TEM, magnetics and gravity, followed up by diamond drilling. Due to the nature of the mineralization
