I found this on your website as a stock you make a market for and I was wondering if you could explain to me what it is?

I do not know this symbol,.. but there was one before that used to trade as CMKX,.. for CMKM Diamonds,.. Is this one in the same and if so why is it listed this way on your site?

Posting from the millionaire board from cmkxgoingtodamoon
ok Folks here's what I've rounded up about CMKM "RR" I hope this helps. I'm keeping all posibilities open and this is only additional information to make you think about what's going on. It's only an add-on not taking over or debunking any other information we've gotten about "RR." I haven't read oh the 1000 other posts about this new CMKMRR discovery, so do excuse me if any of my information has been repeated.
After calling about 4 different UBS Capital Markets representatives this morning and getting hung up on twice I was finally able to get ahold of someone at the UBS office who knew very little. The rep's. response to when asked what RR stood for was, "registration revoked," he wasn't hesistant nor did he ask me about which stock I was talking about. I then asked him, "Could RR also mean renounceable rights?" He paused and then said he didn't know but told me to contact a more knowledgable UBS rep. and he gave me the name and phoner number of this other rep (a phone number that wouldn't work might I add).
I called a few times and couldn't get through at first so I gave up for a about 2 hours but eventually picked up the phone and called UBS a few times until finally I was able to get ahold of the person I had been requested to call.
The person I spoke to was in the compliance dept. For anyone who wants his number unfortunately I will not be able to disclose that info. for his privacy. HR dept does not give out his phone number and neither will I. I do however plan to keep in touch with him. He said his nasdaq database was down at the time since they just moved offices or he could have given me more info.
Here's the deal. I was able to get in decent amounts of questions and he was very nice to answer them for me. Kind and calm gentlemen who didn't get uptight unlike his colleagues.
Before I continue with the UBS conversation. I need to mention one other thing, someone in Willys room had meantioned that Global Home Income (GHI) had 3 Rs next to it's name on the UBS Capital Markets website. I called GHI and had this information checked as well. Turned out GHIRRR is not the correct symbol and that UBS Capital Markets had made a mistake, more on this coming up.
Okay now that the fundamental stuff has been covered here's why I think this is a huge misunderstanding. Earlier, I had mentioned that GHIRRR was not the correct symbol and that there was a mistake. This correlates to CMKMRR as well. Joe, name I'll give to our UBS rep, told me that stock symbols according to NASDAQ cannot be more than 5 symbols. This I confirmed later when I contacted NASDAQ. Now, since NASDAQ does not trade stocks with more than 5 characters this would mean that CMKMRR and GHIRRR that have 6 characters come from an internal techinal error. For this mere reason "Registration Revoked" as mentioned cannot be the case. There is no such thing as 6 character on a stock symbol end of story.
Additionally, Joe said that CMKMRR was definitely a mistake, and then went on to say that, "there's definitely a rights going on." You be the judge of this comment. Rep said, "More than likely only CMKMR and not CMKMRR."
I asked him what RES next to Casavant international mining meant and he said he didn't know.
After my conversation with UBS Capital I called NASDAQ and found out that the symbol R which means Rights could mean many things. Lady I spoke to said that the meaning of Rights would depend on the company and the situation. I asked if Renounceable Rights or Registration Rights were a possibility and she had no clue what either of those meant and would not further comment because she didn't want to misinform me. I asked, "but can rights mean anything?." And she replied yes.
Here's my opinion. The stock symbol on UBScapitalmarkets is a mistake. And since NASDAQ can only have max. of 5 characters CMKMRR is really CMKMR which confirms the "There's a rights going on," comment made by Joe. And since NASDAQ says Rights could be any possibilities depending on the company Renounceable or Registration rights is not out of the question. Which leads me to believe that maybe this wasn't an accident since the listing of CMKMRR on UBS captial markets took place 15 days ago.
And finally, I was told by the same UBS rep that UBS Capital Market was leaving in one week to LLC with UBS (yes these are 2 of the same company.) This might explain the 1999-2004 and probably more.
I hope this helps.

More for the same poster on the millionaire board. here's some more info. Global High Income also known as UBS Global (Stock Symbol: GHI) in their past few PRs announced a Rights Offering. Which could explain the GHIRRR. Wed. December 28th 2005 biz.yahoo.com/bw/051228/20051228005159.html?.v=1Rights Offering: The issuing of rights, to existing shareholders of a security, to buy a proportional number of additional securities at a given price (usually at a discount) within a fixed period. www.investopedia.com/terms/r/rightsoffering.aspKeep in mind, Nasdaq says Rights can mean anything so the Rights Offering to GHI may not necessarily be the same type of Rights as CMKMR might received if it IPOs as CIM. Global High Income has 3 characters in it's name (GHI). And when there's a Rights offer the additional character is normally temporarily added onto to the stock symbol GHI(R) to indicate the action being taken. As mentioned on my previous post both NASDAQ and UBS rep have made it clear that the 6 characters is a mistake. Now hopefully I can make sense of this. The rules of the markets (NYSE) and (NASDAQ) indicate that letters can be 1 to 5 no more than 5. GHI has now recieved a a Rights Offering per the PRs. This could indicate that CMKM could also be getting a Rights offering (may it be Renounceable, Restricted, Registration, etc.) If you visit the UBS Capital Markets website you'll notice that CMKMRR is back on the list. This makes it clear that the symbols would then look like: GHIR CMKMR Because characters can't be longer than 5. Point I'm trying to make is GHI with 3 characters would only have 4 letters after the Rights offer. And CMKM would have 5 letters after a supposed rights. 6 Letters per NYSE and NASDAQ would mean error by UBS. My take is that the error is not in the listing but rather error in amonts of R's added onto the symbol. CMKMRgoingtodamoon
