J.R. Doran Appointed President & CEO

Morgain Minerals Inc. (the 'Company') is pleased to announce that Mr. J.R. (Rod) Doran, P. Eng. has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Raymond J. Mongeau, upon his resignation as President, has been appointed executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company effective April 30, 2003.
Mr. Doran brings over 30 years of underground and open-pit gold mining operating experience to the Company and Mr.
Mongeau has 35 years of geological, mineral exploration and financial mining investment experience.
These appointments are designed to assist the Company in the management of its exploration, development and mining operating activities particularly regarding the ongoing development of its El Cairo project in Mexico.
