The Company is pleased to report that it has recovered 262 diamonds for a total carat weight of 130.56 carats to date from the alluvial bulk test pits completed on Property 108. The diamonds produced have an average weight of half a carat, including 22 diamonds over one carat. The larger size and higher quality of the diamonds recovered are exceeding expectations and are very encouraging. Further shallow drilling on the ARP-1 diamondiferous kimberlite pipe located on property 1000 has hit kimberlitic material extending for 280 metres and is open on both ends. The Company now has 7 diamondiferous kimberlite pipes in the Juina Diamond Province, Mato Grosso State, Brazil, to be duly tested over the next twelve months.
Property 108
To date, the alluvial diamond program has identified what appears to be an extensive corridor of diamond bearing gravels extending diagonally across the property for approximately 10 kilometres. The work commenced in the North Western quadrant of the deposit with much of it remaining open to the South and West. The same type of deposit in the South and West are host to a limited number of small-scale mining operations, conducted by garimpeiros, using very rudimentary equipment. These activities are reported to be extremely successful, demonstrating the commercial potential of the richer zones within this deposit. Coincidentally, Diagem's prior work on this property has identified a number of geochemical kimberlite targets along this corridor.
The latest test pit to be reported, pit 5a, carrying 57 diamonds for a total of 20.8 carats, is of particular interest due to the presence of kimberlite indicator minerals. As well as an abundance of ilmenite, we have recovered garnets up to half a centimetre in size, adding yet another kimberlite target to the 5 already identified on this property alone.

Diagem has identified favourable gravels in the Western (Porcao) and the Southern (Sao Luis) portion of the property. Bulk testing using the moveable plant is about to start in these areas. Mr. Jose Aldo Ferraz, VP of Operations Brazil and Mining reports that the moveable plant, specially designed and built for our program, has been working extremely well, efficiently concentrating the heavy minerals, which include the diamonds, without loss and at a low operating cost.
We expect to complete the current wide spaced test pit program on Property 108 by the end of July/beginning of August, as planned.
Property 1000
David Cohen, President, life long diamond expert and appraiser, is completing an evaluation of the diamonds recovered from the first test pit on property 1000. The parcel has a higher incidence of pink and white diamonds than we have seen to date, which would indicate a higher than expected average value.
