North Star completes Phase One Drill Program on Superior Craton Project

BELLINGHAM, WA, Jan 06, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via Comtex/ -- North Star Diamonds, Inc. (NQB Pink Sheets: NSDM) North Star Diamonds is pleased to report the successful completion of our Phase One Drill Program on the Superior Craton Project in southeastern Manitoba.
The first four drill targets, Bree, Gimli, Merry and Shire were drilled before Christmas, the last target completed December 23th, 2003. President and CEO, Walter Stunder was at the site during drilling. Core samples have been logged and sent to the laboratory and will be analyzed for Kimberlite and associated geological minerals as well as rare earth elements such as gallium and rubidium and others. Results are expected within three weeks.
Based upon recent geophysical magnetic surveys and satellite imaging the Company is continuing to increase its land acquisitions.
