NSDM reports on geophysical work on Phase 3 in Manitoba
BELLINGHAM, WA, Oct 20, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- (PR NewsWire)
North Star Diamonds, Inc. (NQB Pink Sheets: NSDM) has engaged the services of Mr. John Hayles to perform the geophysical work on Phase 3 of the Manitoba Exploration Program.
Phase 3 is located 235 miles North West of Winnipeg, which is in the Pelican Rapids/Swan River area. An assessment of kimberlite indicator minerals (KIM) has been completed and the results suggest that there is a good possibility of kimberlite being discovered. This area has been mapped using the Computer Enhanced Geophysical Imaging System. The geophysical ground work will pinpoint where the drill holes should be located.
Mr. John Hayles is an exploration geophysicist with 8 years of experience in mineral exploration and 20 years in geophysics. Mr. Hayles has a B.Sc. in geological engineering from Queens' University and an M.A.Sc. in geophysics from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Hayles is a registered professional geoscientist and engineer in Ontario and Manitoba. More information about Mr. Hayles and his company may be found on his website www.haylesgeoscience.ca.
Also, to improve service for our diamond buyers, our diamonds will now be shipped directly from New York. This will enhance our service and also keep down our costs. Our website is being updated and more diamonds are being offered. A selection of designer jewelry will soon be offered.
"We expect a busy season for diamond sales and also a busy exploration program" states Walter Stunder, President and CEO.
