New President Appointed
The Company is pleased to report that Neil P. Yingling has been appointed President of Great Western Gold Corp.. Gary Billingsley, former President, will stay on as Vice President Exploration and Development to manage the Company’s world –class rare earth discovery at Hoidas Lake in northern Saskatchewan, as well as the diamond-bearing kimberlites at Candle Lake in central Saskatchewan.
Mr. Yingling has served as Technical Advisor to the Company for several months and has been instrumental in raising awareness as to the importance of the Hoidas discovery within the rare earth community as well as the general public.
The Company is in the process of completing its annual audit and is moving forward to close the previously announced private placement for $750,000. The funds will be used to complete infill drilling and metallurgical work necessary for prefeasibility studies.
