Cohen sidelined for several races due to a broken wrist.
CMKXtreme Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Connie Cohen will have to park her CMKX Suzuki for several races after doctors discovered several broken bones in her left wrist following a check up after a top end incident in Atlanta last month.
Cohen actually made one qualifying run at the Pontiac Performance NHRA Nationals in Columbus the week after her crash using her old bike. After visiting the doctor for a follow up visit, they ran some tests and it was discovered that she had several small broken bones and would be required to sit on the sidelines until at least St. Louis.
“I’m really disappointed for the CMKX team and all of our shareholders and fans,” said Cohen. “My husband Marc has our new bike repaired and we’ll be ready to go as soon as it’s safe for me to compete again. Hopefully it will be very soon. In the meantime I will still be attending the races.”
