Bartone poised to make some noise at his home track in Englishtown
ENGLISHTOWN, pre-race: Tony Bartone will be looking to make a strong showing at this weekend's 36th annual NHRA K&N Filters SuperNationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in New Jersey.
"Englishtown has always been a special place for me to race," said Bartone, a New York native. "The fans are always great and the facility has been known for producing some excellent racing. I'm always excited about competing in Englishtown. It would be a great feeling for our entire team to earn my first professional victory at my home track."
The former NHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car world champions suite will entertain dozens of friends and business associates who'll be attending the event.
"I always stay very busy signing autographs in Englishtown and it's the perfect place to introduce our newest collectable, the Jim Dunn Racing/Got CMKX?/Lucas Oil 1/24th diecast from Racing Champions. The limited edition car is an exact replica of the car we race and looks fast just sitting on the shelf," added Bartone.
