Cohen working hard to cure her blues in Memphis
MEMPHIS, pre-race: CMKXtreme Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Connie Cohen will be looking to turn her season around this weekend at the 18th annual O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals at Memphis Motorsports Park in Millington, Tennessee.
Cohen has been working hard to return to full form since breaking her wrist in a top end crash in Atlanta earlier this season sidelined her for three races. With the support of CMKX Diamonds and her husband and crew chief, Marc Cohen, she returned to action in Denver. The pair have continued to give their maximum effort, both on and off the track, and Cohen remains optimistic racing in one of the most competitive classes in the sport.
"We have been doing everything we can to get the CMKXtreme Suzuki into the show on Sunday," Cohen said as she prepared for the Memphis event. "My wrist has healed very well and it's getting stronger everyday. We improved on every qualifying run in Brainerd and I'm feeling more comfortable each time I go down the track. We really want to give CMKX, SOOoo Good International, and all of our fans and supporters something to cheer about in Memphis."
