Work Program Begins at the Placeritos Area
On the Mildred Peak, Arizona Gold Property
The Company is pleased to report that a work program has started on the Placeritos Area which is the most southern target of the Mildred Peak Arizona Gold Property. Golden Arch’s geologist conducted a detailed examination of the Placeritos Gold Area.
The Placeritos Gold Area, a sulphide-mineralized and silicified zone over four thousand feet long has a number of significant silicified mineralized showings in outcrop which have returned rock-chip sample values up to 1.28 opt Au. The most northerly showing along this gold trend, the Amado showing has an exposure of intensely silicified and quartz veined rock, over one hundred meters long and at least 10 meters wide. Previous sampling in this area included rock ship samples grading up to 0.64 opt Au (21.9 grams per tonne), and a chip channel sample across the zone of 0.093 opt Au (3.2 grams per tone) over 10 meters. The Amado silicified zone is a prominent topographical feature along a northwest trending ridge. The zone is obscured on both ends by overburden. The company’s geologist has started a systematic surface sampling program to determine the extent and grade of the gold mineralization in the Amado zone.
The most southerly showing approximately four thousand feet south of the Amado zone has returned values from rock ship samples of .924 ounces per ton gold, .393 ounces per ton gold. A character sample taken in this area by the company geologist returned a value of .61 ounces per ton gold.
