MY69Z posting
I'am posting why imo, Mr.Willams was given a seat on CMKM's BOD's.Thanks goes to Snifferpup for posting an article that caught my attention.
This is why imo he... " Has already made significant contributions to the company.."
Being i'am running behind this morning,i'am just gonna spit it out and provide all the links at the bottom.
1st reason why :
Cassandra Energy has the rights to explore 10,000 acres for deep oil deposits under an old oil field on the Bay of Alaska...aka..Katalla
It's been in the permit process for over 25 months...4x longer than normal..and had to have discovered commercial oil by the end of '04,or the rights went back to the Govt.
Nov.'04,they were looking for investors due to permit approval.(which was fought tooth and nail by some residents)
Katalla produced 154,000 barrels in the past and according to Bill Stevens, the man in charge from Cassandra..
"It's been overlooked. It's been neglected," Stevens said. "It's a profitable situation waiting to be exploited."
Mr.Steven also said.. " The project fits into Bush administration and state government policies of stimulating oil and gas development far from Alaska's existing oil fields on the North Slope and in the Cook Inlet basin.
Katalla had a fire in '93 and never rebuilt.
2nd reason why :
* Excerpts from an article desribing thier new technology..
" The process is capable of removing bitumen from tar sands to produce heavy oil from tar sands and shallow oil deposits worldwide.
" The new process developed by Cassandra Energy Inc. requires the mining of the tar sand and the use of a miscible solvent that will extract in excess of 99% of the hydrocarbon. The Cassandra process does not require the use of water, the process is non-toxic to animal life and the resultant soil is clean of hydrocarbon residuals. Furthermore, there are no traces of the extraction solvents in the soil after treatment. Cassandra Energy is designing extraction equipment, which at peak performance is capable of handling 150 cubic yards of tar sand per hour at 0.85 bbls of oil per cubic yard, with an extraction rate of up to 3000 barrels of oil per day. This extraction equipment can be nested in groups of three, thus producing 9000 bbls of oil per day. Cassandra is utilizing the technology on its leases with a total proven reserve of 800 millions bbls as documented by the United States Geological Service (USGS) core samples. Cassandra's unique and proprietary process has increased extraction efficiencies when compared with conventional extraction technologies and techniques. Cassandra's process can profitably produce oil at less than $15 per barrel.
Now this is imo, where MR.Willams comes in.Rmemeber,he's the co-founder of BBN Wireless.
" Broadband Wireless International Corporation announced today that a Letter of Intent has been executed with Cassandra Energy, Inc., to bring Cassandra Energy into BBAN as a subsidiary. "
" The directors of Broadband Wireless have been working with Cassandra Energy on their strategic development plan while keeping the technology and design plans extremely confidential. "
Basically,it looks like Cassandra found oil at Katalla because I can't find where they lost the rights back to the Govt..
The reason they were fought by some residents there...that area was hit the worst by the Exxon Valdez.
Their new tech could clean up what/if remains there and also be used world wide. And the guy who runs this part of Cassandra, specializes in beach cleaning.
If they can produce oil at less than $15 a barrel...I think THAT would be a "significant contribution to the company".
Urban said in the Maheu press release... " "In the company's agenda for 2005, it has become paramount to bring in individuals and companies that can make significant contributions to the company. "
In the Mr.Willams press release,Urban said about him....
"He is a friend of Mr. Maheu and family members, has already made significant contributions to the company "
This is why he's was given a seat imo...because he's given CMKM something of significance.
Gltua!
Chris
Ps~ BBN also has other leases that they are advised on by Cassandra
