BELLINGHAM, WA, April 28, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- North Star Diamonds, Inc. (NQB Pink Sheets: NSDM) is pleased to announce that NSDM has engaged Mr. John Hayles of Hayles Geoscience Survey Ltd. to perform the summer geophysical work on NSDM's first summer drilling program. Mr. Hayles will be inspecting the potential drill site and reporting as to how the geophysical work should be performed.
Mr. John Hayles is an exploration geophysicist with 9 years of experience in mineral exploration and 20 years in geophysics. Mr. Hayles has a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering from Queens' University and an M.A.Sc. in Geophysics from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Hayles is a registered professional geoscientist and engineer in Ontario and Manitoba. More information about Mr. Hayles and his company may be found on his website www.haylesgeoscience.ca.
Mr. Hayles is very familiar with this area, since his company is located less than 50 miles from the proposed target. This will make the work progress quickly and be very cost effective. "Working in an area close to major centres has its definite advantages", says Mr. Stunder, "Work of this nature in Northern Canada would cost at least ten times as much. I believe our strategy of working near major centres will pay off in the future."
