Golden Arch Resources Acquires Antelope North Oil Prospect, Texas

VANCOUVER, June 14 /CNW/ - Les Kjosness, President, Golden Arch Resources Ltd. is pleased to announce the acquisition of an 83% interest in an approximate 235 hectare (583 acres) series of leases located in the J.A. Scott Survey No. 2 abstract 693 Clay County, Texas, known as the Antelope North Prospect. The prospect is located in an established, multi-pay region of Northern Texas, geographically southeast of Wichita Falls. This prospect area is known for its shallow, prolific oil production dating from 1940 when Shell Oil Company discovered the Antelope field, two and a half miles south of this prospect.
The prospect has been acquired for the purpose of oil exploration. Plans include drilling two exploratory wells in June 2006 to test the commercial potential followed by several development wells.
The prospect will be operated and maintained by the Companies Nevada based subsidiary, Golden Arch Oil & Gas Inc.
