Significant Gold Assays At Greywacke
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NR 01-12
Mr. Rick Kusmirski, President, is pleased to announce that JNR Resources Inc. has been notified by Masuparia Gold Corporation as to the results from diamond drill holes GW-01-45 to GW-01-49, which were drilled on its Greywacke gold property, in Northern Saskatchewan. Significant gold mineralization was intersected in all of the holes. The intersections are summarized below. All of the gold analysis is by metallic assay.

Greywacke project is under option from JNR Resources Inc. (50 per cent) and Shane Resources Ltd. (50 per cent). Masuparia can earn up to a 70-per-cent interest in the Greywacke property by issuing a total of 500,000 shares by May 25, 2005, and by spending $2.85 million on exploration by May 25, 2008.
The Greywacke property contains the Greywacke North zone where a possible reserve of 328,000 tons at 0.27 of an ounce gold per ton was outlined (Cameco -- 1991 winter report). (This reserve calculation does not conform to current CIM reserve reporting standards.) This zone is open in all directions and has the potential to host additional gold mineralization. Previous work by Cameco detected gold in drill holes over a length of 800 metres and to a depth of 200 metres around the Greywacke zone. In the Lyons zone, to the south, drilling intersected gold values of up to 0.77 oz/t gold over 1.9 m. With the addition of recently staked property, the landholdings now contain more than twelve kilometres of favourable geology, which has the potential to host additional gold deposits. The Greywacke property is located eight kilometres from a highway and can be worked year-round in a very cost-effective manner. The objectives of the present program are to test the continuity between gold intercepts from previous drilling, to gain information which can be used in upgrading the status of the zone into the reserve category and to test the potential for high-grade zones.
The drill holes reported above are part of an initial 1,000-meter diamond drilling program. This program will be followed by a further 2,500 meters of drilling, the purpose of which is to expand the number of ounces of gold in the Greywacke zone and to follow up on high grade gold targets elsewhere on the property.
