JNR Resources Acquires Uranium Property
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rick Kusmirski, President of JNR Resources Inc. (the Company), is pleased to announce that the Company has acquired title to almost 25,000 hectares of property in the Black Lake area of Northern Saskatchewan.
The Black Lake project, which is located near the northeast margin of the Athabasca Basin, was acquired by staking and is owned 100 % by JNR. A review of assessment files indicates that it covers a number of poorly tested EM conductors and unexplained boulder geochemical anomalies. Planning for a summer exploration program is underway.
With this acquisition, the Company will have exposure to over 100,000 hectares of prospective exploration land in the Athabasca Basin, the most productive uranium producing region in the world. The Company is also well financed and is in the process of reviewing a number of other opportunities in the uranium sector.
