JNR Announces Exploration Program on Black Lake Uranium Project
December 13, 2005 - JNR Resources Inc. (TSXV:JNN) (the "Company") is
pleased to announce that a 2005-06 winter exploration program
consisting of line cutting, ground geophysics and diamond drilling, is
underway on the Company's 100%-owned Black Lake uranium project,
located in the Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan.
The program will consist of a minimum of 120 kilometres of line cutting
(three grids) and ground electromagnetic surveys, that cover some of
the more promising airborne EM conductors interpreted from a 1400-line
kilometre magnetic and MEGATEM survey flown over the property earlier
this year. Details of a follow-up diamond drilling program will be
finalized once the results of the ground work have been received and
interpreted.
The Black Lake property comprises almost 42,000 hectares. It is located
on the north rim of the Athabasca Basin, approximately 20 kilometres
southeast of the town of Stony Rapids, and lies along the seasonal road
to that community. The property covers a 40-kilometre strike length of
the Snowbird/Black Lake structure, a major crustal feature that
represents the strike extension of the mineralized Virgin River shear,
located some 225 kilometres to the southwest.
Richard T. Kusmirski, PGeo and David L. Billard. PGeo, are the
Company's qualified persons responsible for the technical data
presented in this release. For more information, visit the Company's
