Explor Resources Inc: 2004 Wedge Lake Drill Program Results (ccnm)
LA RONGE, SASKATCHEWAN--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 20, 2004) - Explor Resources is pleased to announce preliminary results from the Spring 2004 drill program on the Wedge Lake property in Saskatchewan.
Visible gold was observed as small flakes and pin heads at several intervals in two holes of the four which tested the T-6 quartz vein and related shear system. Assays of drill cuttings (sludge sample) and the corresponding core interval appears to have a nugget effect, so therefore management decided to proceed with gravimetric and total metallic assays to obtain the most accurate results. The lack of correlation between the noted visible gold, core and sludge assay results indicates that bulk samples are likely to be the closest estimate of true grade when dealing with coarse gold-bearing quartz veins.
