This is in response to Rgish post # 190165 on Sterlings board..
Yes,the SEC is out to protect the investor, but allow me to add that this NSS is beyond their control..They know and in my opinion very well, if the extent of the NSS were to be exposed, they and their brethren the DTC, would be known as the Fox guarding the henhouse..
The SEC is going to protect for economic reasons, allow companies to fail for sake of keeping the Market Makers from going under..The SEC chairman Donaldson is an inept and a inside player that will side with the security industry rather than the shareholder on a huge issue like NSS..Keep in mind it only relates to this very troublesome NSS situation, not the individual corruption of corporate leaders he so tried to explain on Cavuto, but ignored the question at the Senate hearings Chairmaned by Senator Bennett..He showed his true nature at that hearing and this guy is nothing but a puppet..
Unless the media and other prominent leaders understand the extent of this problem,we as shareholders will lose in the end.
Now with respect to CMKX and if they were to be revoked..Revoking CMKX means nothing to me as long as Urban stays with the obligation that he feels for us shareholders and this has been expounded by him on numerous occasions..The SEC can revoke a company from trading, but they can't take away the assets of said company..So with this said, all UC has to do,is transfer assets and shareholders equity under a new entity..
This is done all the time and my only hope if the dominos fall this direction, that we as shareholders will be rewarded by a buyout or a R/M and some have mentioned CIM.This is still a very real possibility.
I believe in UC and feel that we as shareholders regardless of the outcome, that our staying power with the company, will be rewarded.
I still maintain that this will be the "Ultimate Penny Play of all times".
I also feel we may still not end up at the hearings, but a buyout is in the works..
Have a good day

The below thoughts from Varok's post ARE KEY IMO (ALL CMKX SHAREHOLDERS SHOULD COMMIT THIS TO MEMORY):
"Now with respect to CMKX and if they were to be revoked..Revoking CMKX means nothing to me as long as Urban stays with the obligation that he feels for us shareholders and this has been expounded by him on numerous occasions..The SEC can revoke a company from trading, but they can't take away the assets of said company..So with this said, all UC has to do,is transfer assets and shareholders equity under a new entity.."
...........All I can say is DITTO AND I FERVENTLY SECOND THESE THOUGHTS!
God Bless to all!

DrDiamond: If CMKX's Registration is Revoked
DrDiamond wrote:
"CMKX, if revoked, has the means to satisfy the Pink Sheets eligibility requirements and return to the market place unless strenuous steps are taken by the SEC to try and prevent that from happening. It would be rare and IMHO inconceivable that the SEC would open themselves up to the inquiries of 50,000 plus CMKX shareholders as to why the excessive restraints when the company is willing to cooperate, unless the SEC were trying to protect and hedge regulatory friends and cohorts."

Also, from the last CMKX PR:
"If the Commission were to suspend or revoke CMKX's registration under the Exchange Act, CMKX would be considered a non-reporting company and would continue to trade on the Pink Sheets."
