Blue Note Hires Zahovskis as Vice-President Operations

MONTREAL, July 5 /CNW/ - Blue Note Metals Inc. reports that it has engaged Chris Zahovskis as Vice-President - Operations.
Zahovskis is a Mining Engineer from Queen's University and brings his 25 years experience in Canada, Turkey, Indonesia, Australia and New Caledonia initially to the Caribou project and eventually to other developments in the company.
Zahovskis spent the last eight years with Inco Ltd. initially as Vice President at the Manitoba Division and for the past four years as Director of Mining Operations for the Goro Nickel Project in New Caledonia.
Prior to joining Inco, Zahovskis spent 17 years in various senior operating positions with Cominco Ltd. in base metals, gold and potash at the Sullivan and Snip mines in B.C., Cerattepe in Turkey, Potash Operation in Saskatoon, the Con and Polaris mines in the NWT.
Over his career to date, Zahovskis has been involved in several greenfields operations (Snip, Cerattepe and Goro) where he was responsible for numerous aspects including design, personnel and equipment procurement and eventual operation.
