The Company provides the following update on its diamond projects in the Juina Diamond Province, Mato Grosso State, Brazil.
Bulk testing of diamondiferous gravels has moved to within half a kilometre of the Chicoria Creek Area, on property 213, and is returning some of the best results, in terms of grade and diamond size distribution, reported to date. During the last two weeks 774 diamonds for a total weight of 169.32 carats, with an average stone size of 0.26 carats have been recovered. The latest bulk sample was conducted close to the confluence of the Sorisso River and the Chicoria Creek, recovering an impressive 8 diamonds over one carat in size.
Chicoria Creek Area
Following mobilization of the moveable plant from the Dona Maria Area, the first bulk sample has been made less than one kilometre from the confluence of the Sorrisso River and the Chicoria Creek. This sample returned the largest average stone size, of 0.49 carat, recorded to date, inclusive of the 8 one carat diamonds mentioned above. The material being tested in this area is very similar to the sandier, looser gravel material found on the Chicoria Creek area. The latest results from bulk sampling are as follows:

Gravel delineation work continues throughout the Chicoria Creek area and has identified extensive gravels both in the flats of the valleys and up to 300 metres up slope, along approximately 1.5 kilometres of creek and river. Excavation of material for bulk sampling of the material atop of the Acori 2 diamondiferous Kimberlite pipe has started and processing of the material is expected to commence shortly.
Last week, at the request of the Company, the National Department of Mineral Production (DNPM) and the Environmental agency (FEMA), sent representatives to the field as part of the Company's on-going collaboration to ensure that the Company's current and planned environmental management practices meet or exceed those required by these agencies.
Dona Maria Area
The Pilot Plant is nearing completion of test work on the garimpeiro tailings, in its current site, on the Dona Maria area. Testing is indicating that, due to the inefficient recovery methods historically employed by garimpeiros, considerable potential still remains.
