Diagem International Resource Corp. is pleased to announce that 1,205.8 carats of diamonds from the Company's first test export in 2004 have now been cleaned and evaluated in Antwerp by Natural Diamond Corporation ('Natural Diamond'), a pre-eminent rough and polished diamond marketing company. Natural Diamond valued the diamonds, recovered from test work at the Chicoria Creek Resource Block #1, Property 213, Juina Diamond Province, Brazil, at an average price of US$30 per carat, fully meeting expectations. For the purposes of this valuation, individually significant diamonds were excluded, such as the previously reported 16 and 25 carat gem quality diamonds which have an estimated value of $400 and $1,500 respectively per carat value.
Jacky Lewy, Principal of Natural Diamond, and director of Diagem, noted that a select group of clients is eagerly anticipating the time when the Company will be supplying this assortment of Diamonds on a regular basis. In addition, the variety in size, colour, purity and models is an indication that very special diamonds, including fancy colours, may be expected in the future.
For and on behalf of DIAGEM International Resource Corp.
