North Star announces its current accomplishments

BELLINGHAM, WA, Feb 10, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- North Star Diamonds, Inc. (NQB Pink Sheets: NSDM) North Star Diamonds is pleased to report that the thin sectioning of the drill core of the shire target is now complete.
Due to the positive results of the initial petrographics, North Star Diamonds, Inc has decided to analyze more core samples to further confirm the results of the initial testing. Walter Stunder will be meeting with the laboratory staff to discuss the results on Monday, February 16th along with the geologist and select more core for testing. He will then travel to Winnipeg to inform the Manitoba Geological Survey staff as to the results. A press conference is being scheduled in Winnipeg on Tuesday, February 17th at 1:30 p.m.
Due to the changes in plans, the information meeting planned for Bellingham on February 12th at 10:00 will be postponed.
North Star Diamonds, Inc has reached an agreement with a major Canadian diamond cutter to market diamonds under the North Star brand. The trademark is being registered. Customers will now be able to purchase a North Star diamond with the North Star logo and their own identification. This will assure the customer of high quality at a reasonable price. This is a great step forward in establishing North Star Diamonds, Inc. as a leader in the vertical integration in the diamond industry.
Mr. Dan Heilman has now been retained as a consultant to North Star Diamonds, Inc in establishing the land acquisition strategy.
North Star Diamonds, Inc has also now acquired in excess of 55,000 acres of land. This land is strategically located and will prove valuable in the growth of the company.
North Star Diamonds, Inc. is committed to a long-range plan for diamond exploration and feels that with the Superior Craton Project and the assets in Ukraine, North Star is focused on establishing the Company as a true world explorer in search for diamonds.
