BELLINGHAM, WA, April 19, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- North Star Diamonds, Inc.(Pink Sheets: NSDM) wishes to inform its shareholders that Walter Stunder, President, is presently in Ukraine by invitation until May 1. The purpose of his trip is to assess the diamond exploration potential of certain properties and to meet with several prospective joint venture partners currently doing diamond exploration there. He has also been invited there to review other business opportunities connected with Rare Earth Minerals that were previously considered. Before leaving, Mr. Stunder stated, "This important trip further demonstrates our dedication to the success of our company and that NSDM continues its aggressive approach to acquisition of proven diamond properties."
