BELLINGHAM, WA, May 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - North Star Diamonds, Inc. (Pink Sheets: NSDM - News) For the past two years, North Star Diamonds, Inc. has been exploring for diamonds and marketing cut diamonds on our website. The price of diamonds has not appreciated to any extent while gold, petroleum, copper and rare earth metals have appreciated substantially. It is therefore obvious that a change in venue is necessary. North Star Diamonds Inc. has been offered and is considering several projects in gold, copper, rare earth metals as well as petroleum. The diamond projects will continue as preliminary results from the U.S.A. projects have shown that diamond indicator minerals are present. Results are expected later this week. The management of North Star Diamonds Inc. is of the opinion that this change was necessary to take advantage of opportunities which are of shorter term and have better upside potential. Shareholders will be kept informed on the progress of both diamond exploration and the new projects on a timely basis.
