COMPANY BUSINESS OFFICE RELOCATED TO SASKATOON, SK.
Neil P. Yingling, President/Director is pleased to announce that Great Western Gold Corp is initiating efforts to relocate and centralize business and administrative support services offices from Vancouver, B.C. to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. During this transition process expected to take several days, no progress on engineering or planning programs related to it's Hoidas Lake or Candle Lake projects will be impeded in any manner. Mr. Yingling also announces the resignation of Mr. George Orr of Britton Capital who was interim business manager for the Company and corporate secretary.
In addition and for informational purposes the Company wishes to note (in regard to the news release of March 6, 2002) that it is obligated to spend a cumulative total of $300,000 prior to September 1, 2002 to maintain its position in the joint venture with War Eagle Mining Company, Inc. It was earlier stated the remaining work commitment was $150,000, but this was in reference to the current year's requirement only. The company maintains 80% and is the controlling partner with War Eagle retaining a 20% carried interest in the project. As of this date, the company has spent a cumulative total of $71,000, under the amended joint venture, on Candle Lake and intends to meet the remainder of its obligation prior to the due date.
