PROGRESS REPORT
Gary Billingsley, President, is pleased to provide an update on current corporate and project activities.
The metallurgical sample taken at the Company's 100%-owned Hoidas Lake rare earth project in northern Saskatchewan is now enroute to Saskatoon. From there it will be sent to metallurgical processing facilities in Montana where metallurgical testwork will commence to finalize the design of the pilot plant for Hoidas Lake.
The Company, having completed the purchase of a 100% working interest in the Hoidas Lake property, is now engaged in negotiations to purchase the 3% overriding royalty, payable on production, from the third party vendor.
Neil Yingling, Chairman of the Technical Advisory Committee, has made significant progress in the initial funding of Great Western Diamonds Corp. (“GWD”), the Company subsidiary from which all diamond-related activity will take place. An agreement is now being prepared for the transfer of the Company's interest in the Candle Lake diamond property to GWD, and negotiations are underway for GWD to purchase the 20% interest in Candle Lake not currently held by GWG. This would give GWD a 100% working interest in the Candle Lake diamond property. Work on the necessary documents and requirements to take GWD public is also ongoing.
The Company anticipates an extremely busy fall and winter and further progress reports will be issued as the details and results of particular activities can be made available.
