VANCOUVER, B.C..--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 5, 1996--JNR RESOURCES INC. (VcSE:JNN/VcSE:KPG) Consolidated Pine Channel Gold Corp. and JNR Resources Inc. are pleased to report that kimberlite drill core from the recently completed drill program in the Cobalt - New Liskeard area of Ontario, on the known OPAP kimberlite pipe and the two new pipes (C-31 & BKF #1) found by the Consolidated Pine Channel - JNR Resources Inc. joint venture, is being sent via air freight to the De Beers laboratories in South Africa for complete evaluation. The initial shipment will be of 200 kg of core from each of the three pipes. Results are expected to be received from De Beers by sometime during March 1996.
As soon as weather conditions improve, which appears will occur soon, drilling will resume in the area on priority-one targets over which the ground was too wet for drilling during summer. Nineteen proposed priority-one targets have been outlined.
In addition, the area of interest with regard to the Consolidated Pine Channel - JNR Resources joint venture has again been expanded, based on the results of a recently completed airborne geophysical survey, to cover Kerns, Bryce and Dymond townships, all of which are located in close proximity to the existing area of interest. -0- CONSOLIDATED PINE CHANNEL GOLD CORP.
