VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 1996-- CONS. PINE CHANNEL GOLD (VSE: KPG)--Mr. Dale W. Hoffman, President of Consolidated Pine Channel Gold Corp. (the "Company"), is pleased to report that geophysics have now been completed on claim number S-101388, subject of the Consolidated Pine Channel Gold Corp. (58.2 percent) Canadian Entech Research Corp. (41.8 percent) joint venture, situated in the Northern Mining District of Saskatchewan.
S-101388 lies north on the structure that runs from Fort a la Corne through the War Eagle - Great Western Gold discovery.
Shadow mapping of this area has indicated a cluster of kimberlites, as shallow as 100 m., with signatures similar to those in the Fort a la Corne area, and similar to signatures found over the War Eagle - Great Western Gold Candle Lake joint venture.
An offer has been received from a major mining company regarding a joint venture on this property, but at present the company and Canadian Entech will decline the offer until a complete evaluation of the geophysics has been completed.
