VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 25, 1996-- Consolidated Pine (VSE:KPG) We refer to quotes from the statement of Dr. Bram Janse contained in our news release dated March 20, 1996, regarding the Consolidated Pine Channel Gold Corp. -- JNR Resources Inc. diamond exploration project in northeastern Ontario, and wish to clarify that Dr. Janse's statement means only that the analyses of indicator minerals from OPAP kimberlite pipe samples suggest that conditions prevail for the presence of diamonds in the OPAP. To the date of this news release, no diamonds are known to have been found in samples taken from the OPAP pipe. We are still awaiting the results from samples of the OPAP and other kimberlite pipes, which have been sent for analysis to the De Beers laboratories in South Africa, as well as to other laboratories in Canada. These results are expected to be available during the first week of April. -0- Note to Editors: The Vancouver Stock Exchange has not reviewed and does not accept responsibility for the accuracy or adequacy of the content of this news release.
