Anglo Minerals Ltd. Announces $762,500 Brokered Private Placement (ccnm)
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 20, 2006) - Anglo Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:ALM) is pleased to announce that it has engaged Union Securities Ltd. ("Union") to raise up to $762,500 by way of a brokered private placement. Union will act as agent on a commercially reasonable best efforts basis to raise a maximum of $762,500 through the sale of up to 750,000 common shares at $0.50 per share and up to 750,000 "flow-through" common shares at $0.55 per share. The offering is scheduled to close in mid-February and is subject to regulatory approval.
Proceeds of the offering will be used to fund the winter 3-D seismic program to be completed on Anglo's Jansen Lake potash project and for general working capital.
