Kensington Resources Ltd. (CDNX:KRT.) is pleased to announce the appointments of Mr. Richard Wake-Walker and Mr. Charles Wyndham, both of London, England, to its Technical Committee.
Mr. Wake-Walker and Mr. Wyndham will bring to Kensington nearly 50 years of combined professional experience in the field of international diamond marketing and exploration.
Mr. Wake-Walker and Mr. Wyndham are founders and principals of WWW International Diamond Consultants Ltd. (WWW) - which provides consulting and valuation services to both diamond prospecting and producing companies as well as foreign governments at the highest level. Their official advisory services have included a number of mining and prospecting companies and the Canadian Federal government. WWW is the minority partner with Aboriginal Diamond Group (ADG) which together formed Diamonds International Canada (DICAN) Ltd. to win the tender in July 1998 to become the first Canadian Government diamond valuators.
Mr. Wyndham was an advisor to the South African Diamond Board and Alexkor, the State-owned diamond mine and was Director of DeBeers' Central Selling Organization where he worked for 20 years. He was Secretary to the Executive Committee and Diamond Consultant to the Chairman's office of DeBeers (Johannesburg) and was responsible for diamond sorting operations in Kimberly and Windhoek. On leaving DeBeers he set up R-W Diamond Brokers Ltd.
Mr. Wake-Walker is a director of Archangel Diamond Corp. (CDNX), and London & Moscow Development Corporation. Previously, he was appointed the first General Director of DeBeers in the Russian Federation, a Manager in the DeBeers Central Selling Organization (CSO) in London and, as well as extensive experience throughout Africa, he also served as Secretary to the Executive and Management Committees of the CSO in London. Both men's expertise in diamond valuation, marketing and mining production and exploration will be a great asset to Kensington's Fort a la Corne Project. Their extensive international diamond experience will benefit Kensington Resources Ltd. in realization of bringing the Fort a la Corne property into production.
Mr. Wake-Walker and Mr. Wyndham will be joining other Technical Advisors Dr. Peter Nixon, B.Sc, Ph.D, D.Sc., Professor Emeritus, Leeds University, Mr. G. Clive Newall, B.Sc. (Hons.) Mining Geology, Royal School of Mines, MBA Strathclyde University, Scotland and Kensington's new Project Manager, Mr. Brent Jellicoe, B.Sc. P. Geo.
