Comments on Andy
After the escalating number of conversations posted and spoke about involving our IR man Andrew Hill I felt it imperative to write this. Andrew has a job that as most know if they know me, I would love to have but at the same time I have to say it is probably one of the hardest jobs out there.
Working for a company that is “supposed” to be the “stock play of a lifetime” would be a pretty tall order to fill IMHO. With estimates of 40,000 + investors on one stock I can imagine that answering all the calls let alone keeping your story “sounding” the same each time would be exhausting and difficult.
The fact that we have so many investors and one too many “leaders” online is another issue,.. Everyone has their own opinions and thoughts on and issue,.. Same as what I am writing to you now,.. However this being said you can easily see how ones words could be misinterpreted over the phone considering us as a shareholder base cannot even agree what a simple PR says,.. And the PR is in front of all of us,.. So there is no difference in the story the second time around there,.. But yet we continue to find differences and angle’s that appose others thoughts on that very same line, paragraph and or statement.
Now knowing that this is the case I have to wonder if anything we have heard from anyone posted online “coming from Andy” has been 100% accurate,.. Not saying I don’t trust the people saying,.. But I am saying they may have read into a statement more then myself or someone else may have,.. Maybe read less into what was said,.. Or missed a subtle hint.
Even after all the rumors I have to say I am still behind our IR guy as like I said it has to be one of the more difficult jobs in the history of IR’ing,.. Keeping a balance between truth and fiction,.. Hear say and comments.
So in the end I guess I am asking as a friend to my friends online to give the man some slack,.. Would you want the job? Seriously? I know I say I would be man,.. What stress,.. lol
Just something to keep in mind while you read what I am sure to be more “My conversation with Andy” posts over the next few days/weeks/months.
Thanks and Have a great Day!
