CMKX Attorney speaks on behalf of Company!
Donald Stoecklein, an attorney representing CMKM
Diamonds, Inc, was quoted today in the Las Vegas
Sun (an e-zine) on the hearing notice
recently announced by the SEC. These allegations
infer CMKX has not filed a required annual report
since May 9, 2002, or a quarterly since November
2002. To set the record straight, Don Stoecklin
stated, "the hearing notice is the logical step after
the company itself reported discrepancies in previous
filings. The company, more or less, expected this".
On February 11th, the company announced
a "corporate strategy plan designed to dramatically
and comprehensively transform (CMKM's) internal
corporate governance." Stoecklein said that process
is proceeding. He also indicated that the hearing
notice is unrelated to the previous suspension of
trading (in Saskatchewan). "It has nothing to do --
in our knowledge --
to do with that," Stoecklein said.
The important thing for subscribers to remember is
that the order also stated such a hearing
will "afford the respondent an opportunity to
establish any defenses to such allegations."
CMKX brought attention to themselves by ammending
the Form 15g, in order to correct a mistake that was
made under bad advice from person(s) back in 2002
to become a non-reporting company. Donald
Stoecklein's Law Firm reversed that action and set in
motion plans to correct these issues. The hearing
according to Stoecklin is welcomed.
Although, Zooming$tocks' Jose Davila is
reported as being a "tout", we firmly believe in CMKM
Diamonds, Inc. and Urban Casavant. Our faith in the
company and its CEO are genuine and we do our very
best to report on the facts. Many rumors exist at
any given time of day concerning the company's
status, tender offers, and potential mergers. We
remind our subscribers to take it all with a "grain of
salt" until reported by the company in a press release
or a filing. The views expressed by
Zooming$tocks.com are strictly our opinion
and do not represent the views or opinions of the
company or any shareholder.
