helio, Please give me a link or a book title where I can learn more. I can do a search but if I get something from someone who does it I think I could trust it more.

I had dowsed the CMKX map, but since we really have got no reports on finds yet, kind of hard to judge on the map I had marked.
On Nov, 8th, e-mailed the Map, maybe Franko, will post it, its the old map, ground still the same.

Must reply. regarding map, I know from past experience, that under the marked spots, there is something there, but could be a difference of what minerals are there. In other words, marked areas for zinc, could be gold, etc, etc.
I once dowsed a map in Indiania, and asked the question, where is there silver or gold to be found?
Took me to about 3 miles from my office, used a garrett deep seeker metal detector, and got a strong reading, dug up silver ore. Silver flakes were on the rocks.
During the ice age, agregate was pushed south from the north, and came about as far south, as where I found this.
Could tell other storys, but will not at this time.

Awesome stuff,... if this is even a small percentage accurate on your readings we will all be extremely happy,.. thanks for emailing it to me!

Dowsing story #2 I had met another pilot at an airport in Springfield Illinois, and noticed he had 2 bent brazing rods in his flight bag.
I ask him in a joking fashion, what do you have there, a portable brazing kit?
He was slow to answer, but finally started talking about dowsing, his hobby.
Thats how I picked up on it, and about a year later, started playing around with it.
A couple in central Illinois came up missing, and it was big news for a few weeks around 1981. I dowsed an Illinois map, and was directed to the Illinois river, at the edge of a town. Peoria, Ill
At the time I dowsed this, I was living in Indiania. I called the Peoria police long distance on a pay phone, using change, and told them, I felt the couple were in the water at the edge of the town. Would not give my name and hung up.
About a week later, I read where the couple were found in the river in their car, and had driven off a pier.
Stay tuned, more storys another day.

Dowsing story #3
This one did not turn out well, whatever, is still there. I use to do alot of research prior to trying to locate stuff. Going to local librarys for old history books.
Was living about 40 miles north west of Lafayette, Indiania, and old storys where about gangsters from Chicago, had farms or familys had farms in central Indiania. Many storys of this or that person was to have buryed money on this or that farm, etc. Also storys, of the Indians that were payed in gold coin to leave the area, and go west. (Part of the trail of tears)
Story goes, the indians never took the gold coins with them, but was told down thru generations that, the gold was buryed in Indiania, and left behind.
Another interesting part of history in that area, was that Indiania had a lake about 5 miles wide and 50miles long. This in early years was drained dry, and became farm land in time.
I had bought exspensive dowsing gear years ago, but learned in time, it is not needed. Simple things like 2 brazing rods bent on 90 degrees, and bent so they balance in hand, is as good as anything you can buy.
After making these, I was getting a strong reading, while standing in my back yard, walking a ways, made no difference. I should say here, that I thought, and said at the same time(( I wish to locate something buryed of great value.)) Got in the car, driving with one hand, the other holding just one rod.
After about 2 miles, as I past a little county park, the rod almost jumped out of my hand, as it swung fast pointing now behind. I turned around, and realized it was pointing at the park area.
Got out of the car, followed it to about 5 feet of a 200 year old oak tree. As I started passing closer to the tree, the rods rotated 180 degrees, telling me I had gone beyond what was buryed there.
The next day, took my deep seeker metal detector, and got a strong signal. This detector could find a quart jar of coins or metal 6 feet deep.
The next day, I took a battery drill motor and a 4 foot long drill I had made, and drilled holes in the ground, but hit nothing hard. Had a policeman stop, and ask what I was doing, and I told him I was a treasure hunter. He said Ok, but not here, this is county property.
So to this day, do not know whats down there, indian gold coins, gangster loot?
Years ago, people used oak trees to bury near by, because they lived for hundreds of years. So, the fact, whatever was 5 feet from that very large old oak tree is still buryed there.
AS I said up front, this did not turn out well, but one can see, the things that can come into play to put a damper on finding something, or I guess I should say, " getting it out of the ground, is another matter."

Dowsing story #4
Well, you say, with this dowsing, have you found anything? Yes, and it was not that hard.
My wife grew up in Selmar, Tn., and was raised by her Grand parents. Simple life on a small farm.
She told me of the widowed lady next property over, that did not believe in banks, and said she put her money in the ground.
The lady had passed away long ago, and the property turned into a forest. Amazing, how the land is reclaimed from the trees, weeds, etc.
I wanted to wait for cold weather, as there are alot of copper heads, rattle snakes, etc. Do not like walking in weeds, where you can not see your boots.
After a couple of frost, and it turned colder, I dowsed the land, and got a fair reading. The dowsing rod moved me in the direction, and then I got a spinning of the rods. This told me, I was over whatever.
I got a strong reading from my metal detector, and started to dig. About one foot down, hit glass, which turned out to be a pint mason fruit jar.
Contents, where 37 Silver dollars, and 2 fancy marbles. (2 fancy marbles?) Understand she had a son, most likely they were his and for her, was like gold. Don't know
Silver dollars were in circulated condition, and were not of low mintage, so value was not that great.
Going back when we visit relatives, and try again, think there may be some gold coins.
After my wifes grandmother passed away, the house was being redone. Upon taking off the old wall paper, 9 one hundred dollar bills, had been put behind the wall paper. These country folks, just didn't trust banks after the depression.
In 1933, the government, made a law, that gold coins had to be turned in. I think many people, buryed them.
Stayed tuned for continued storys.
