Franko: You need to get a pc of string, and tie the end to a ring. (5 inches long) sit down, rest your elbow on a table, ask a question, that you know is true. If you get a rotation, thats a yes answer, opposite turn will be a no answer. Then ask and think, will a CMKX PR come out in 1 day, 2 days, 3 days. Just keep moving up on the number until you get a yes response. I'am sure you have some string, and a ring. Ha

terraserver.microsoft.com/image.aspx?T=1&S=11&Z=17&X=1506&Y=10264&W=1&qs=%7cBurnt+Chimney%7cVirginia%7cGold is gone! After enlarging with Sat map, my pendulum pooped out, just a weak indication. You will notice the wooded area and a white farm house to the right, with a road leading up into the woods. About 200 feet or so,into the wooded area, you will notice a void area, which appears to be a piled up mass of dirt. South of this void area, about 1/4 inch is where I get a faint indication. Remember, this was placed into a cave, then sealed up. (You can note, that the topo map, and the aerial photo, both have a river to the north of the baby mountian, that looks like a camels back(river) in the river north. By the way, on the first topo map, the words Piedmont mill. To the left is a 300 ft term. If you go about 1/4 inch above the M in Piedmont, this aerial Sat is what you see. So this was located about 255-260 degress from the Burnt Chimney marker, about 3-4 miles or so. Why still a little weak indication with a pendulum? Because over a long period of time, the ground absorbs the molecules of the items buryed in the ground, and the pendulum, or dowsing rod picks up on this. This general location of Burnt Chimney was published in Lost treasure Magazine, a month ago. I'am sure Pro treasure hunters had insight long before the story hit publication. Also a GOOD chance that Jaob's son Joel, went back in years or when ever, and recovered the cache of coins. Joel later in life was a general in the confederate army, Jaob's wife was related in relation to another General Stuart, well know. It was also Mrs Harrison, Jaob's wife relation, that had close to 300,000 acres of land and (plus 2,900 slaves) are also where connected to relation that buryed the famous Beale treasure in Bedford county, next to Franklin county. The United States budget was 23 million dollars for one year back then. As 66% of the civil war was fought in Virginia, there are many buryed treasure caches, that no one knows about, as they died, got killed, etc. So the treasure nobody has ever heard of, are the treasures, that are still out there, and can be found by dowsing maps. So, sorry guys, maybe on the next projects, will come up with some early gold coins. However, nothing lost as Franko, will be dowsing soon, and Lazerboy , seems to have a good handle on it already.

Lazerboy: I'am just a person that can dowse a map, but so can 95% of the people if they think positive. Its just learning things about the process. My title here with post, gives about as much info, as one need, if when a person has the time review all my post, and related info from the start here.
You may be able to project future PR's where I can not, you may be able to pick the lottery numbers, but I can not, but you may excel in something that I could not. Just be positive, ask and think specific questions, when using a pedulum, or dowsing rod, etc. Oh yes, practice, practice, practice
Franko: Have not answered your question, can one tell how deep? The answers is yes, but will make it another post subject soon.
And yes, going to drive down Sat to check out the property. If nothing else, I found an empty hole that once held a few million worth of gold coins. This was done at my desk, which says, " alot for this dowsing thing."

One last thing Lazerboy, then got to ride out. One can ask questions about things that are not know for sure, but are not in the future. I'll leave you with this. Is there a god? Is there a devil? Is there an energy force we go to, when we die? Will I enjoy the here after? Well you get the idea.

Lazerboy: Have 3 readings now for the Burnt Chimney area. Hope to drive down tomorrow, and see how strong the dowsing rod reacts. I neglected to state that Jaob had deposit the iron kettle(full of gold coins) in the cave with 5 slaves who never came out, was in fact, a small copper mine that Jaob had. I was not aware of copper south of Roanoke, but now I find that gold can also be locate in about 140 places in Virginia. Hoping that I'am not picking up on copper mineral deposits, in place of buryed gold coins. Relative conductivity is used in the make up for metal detector ID circuits which help identify detected objects, prior to digging up. However it is only about 65% reliable. Relative conductivity of copper is 100, silver is 106, and gold is 65. I can not help but wonder, if this in any way effects dowsing a map.I have stated before, that one can get a reading, but it may not be what you have ask for, in regards to the metal or mineral you are seeking. So, I guess you pay your money so to speak, and just start digging. A little about what we seek. In the 1830's, gold coins were heavily circulated. Foreign gold and silver coins were also circulated up until 1857. Gold coins saw significant circulation before the civil war, but by the beginning of 1862, gold coins completely disappeared from circulation. In 1879, the paper money started to be backed by gold. Of all the gold coins minted, the half-eagle (5.00) was the most circulated gold coin. 80% of gold coins found by metal detecting are half-eagles. Early dated gold coins in AU- almost uncirculated could be worth $15,000-$20,000 each. www.usrarecoininvestments.com/collecting/1795-halfeagle.htmThe saga continues. Ok Franko, been dowsing or not, lets hear from you. ;D

ret & franko-well I had some fun with my dowsing for FUN info,REMEMBER i said FUN.I ask specific Q's to find out things, like will i have more new work come in or will we have a healthy litter of pups ect, well I decided to go all out for the Million Doller Q's-will cmkx make us Rich THIS year.now understand this is as I said JUST FOR FUN.THIS is NOT a PR-no basis for anything but FUN I have a regular piece of paper with the words YES & NO circled on it, WELL we sit there my wife & I watching & i repeat the Q's -will cmkx make us rich THIS year-well the chain starts to move slowly back & forth untill its going from the center line right into YES. so I move the chain backwards, again it pulls back to the word YES. was it wishfull thinking -of coarse ,do I believe it-anything is POSSIBLE.would I bet my life on it H--- NO. remember I said it was JUST FOR FUN.but we never know.I can't tell you the next Q's I asked because I know no one would believe it.I can tell you THIS my self I believe in UNITED WE STAND.hope everyone else will too.so anyone wanting to try this turn off the noise makers-radio;s tv ect-write yes or no on a blank piece of paper spaced at least 6 inches apart draw a center line -circle the answers & have a go at it.remember be specific,& REMEMBER ITS JUST FOR FUN.Hey Franko maybe you could put a column in here named JUST FOR FUN.so we don't tie up ret;s .lazerboy.

Well the treasure hunting Saga continued today:
Loaded up the car with some light gear, and one wife. Pretty day in Virginia, about 45 degrees. Spent alot of time with Sat maps, county map, and went right to the edge of the property. The topo map had shown a Jeep trail, which was really marked Jeep.
A damper on the treasure hunt was put in place, as the entrance was chained and posted,
I was able to get a good dowsing rod direction, as well as the pendulum, also confirmed the direction of the buryed what ever, which started out being gold coins dowsed from a topo map, then Sat aerial maps.
Now my effort will be in finding out who owns the property, (county clerk) and try to get permission to get on the property. Will have to make a deal, to give up half of the treasure, if and when we get that far.
The thing about taking your wife treasure hunting, expect to stop at the Dairy Queen, and the wholesale furniture store on the way home. Had alot of laughs.
Had strapped on my colt 45 auto, and almost forgot to take it off before going into the dairy queen. Its legal in Virginia to have a side arm holstered, but not concealed. For a concealed firearm, must have a concealed license. ($50.00) and a 4 hours trianing course, and background check.

Interesting money story: At the end of the war of 1812, Charleston, SC was running low on silver money. So the sity ordered $20,000.00 of paper currency to be printed in 6-1/4, 12-1/2, 25 and 50 cent notes. The paper money had farm animals consisting of a rooster, goat, pig, and a ox The plates for printing the money, were made of steel, and were just recently found in an old safe, due to major renovation. Up until the civil war, banks could print their own money, backed by gold or other assets that they had. War of 1812? www.multied.com/1812/

While we are waiting, read something of value. www.financialsense.com/fsu/editorials/2005/0127.htmlSilver, Gold, Diamonds will become a hedge against a no value paper money in the future. Gee, I wonder where I can buy stock in a Diamond mining company??? ;D www.intcurrency.com/results.cfm?catID=50&subcatID=38You can not go wrong buying American Silver Eagles, in uncirculated condition. The value doubles just about doubles each year, as a collector item, in its self. The best thing, you can buy a few at a time, as your budget allows. Why silver over gold, tho both are a good investment long term? Think in terms of making 200% on your money. Gold at 425.00, to make 200% on your money, would have to go to 1275.00. However, silver at 6.70 would only have to go to 21.10. Should silver go to 35.00, well you can see what I mean. Plus it is easyer, at least for me to buy Silver American eagles at 9.95, opposed to the cost of Gold coins, at 69.00 for a 1/10 ounce Gold coin.
