Muff: Have this, may help, but you may have to put out a little money. search.msn.com/results.aspx?FORM=MSN8A&q=TOPO+maps+CanadaThe here now subjects, like the physical silver is easyer, than trying to fortell an event, that has not happened, but it still is feasiable. Your mind knows the matter make up of metals, since our body contain all known metals, even gold I am told. One neat thing to do with a pendulum, is ask the direction of true north. Never has failed me yet. Wonder how many people have been lost, perhaps died, because they did not know what direction they were going, etc. A pc of string tied to a stick would surfice, in a pinch. Enjoy reading you post.

Got time for a Gold Prospector Story? Years ago, in 1959, was nothing but a young whipper snapper, and wanted to sew some wild oats around the country. Was living in Illinois, jump in my car, headed towards Anchorage Alaska. Drove to Reno, Nevada, spent the night at a Casino, the next morning over the mountians to California to the coast, caught Rt 1, drove up to Seattle, then into Canada. Onward to Anchorage by way of the Alcan highway (1600 miles of gravel road back then) Upon getting to Anchorage, then went to Hope Alaska about 50 miles out from Anchorage. Stopped into a general store and bought supplys, plus a Gold Pan, etc. Found a fast moving stream of water, and started panning. Was not finding anything, and in about 2 hours, an old timer came walking out of the woods. He says, " you having any luck, I said no." he then said, " you won't be able to see the gold flakes, if you do not darken up the Pan. As the Pan was silver, he suggested, I build a fire, throw the pan in the fire and get it black. Worked like a charm, and started finding gold flakes in the pan. I ask the old timer, was that how he made a living, he said, " Yes, but I tie a army blanket on a angle, and after a few weeks of throwing gravel on it, I burn the blanket on a big Pc of tin. After that, I collect the Gold flakes, that was trapped by the wool in the blanket. I cooked up a meal, and invited the old timer to have something to eat. He was an old nice guy, and full old gold storys. After about 4 days, got tired of gold panning, and went on some fast water rafting trips. Just me and my raft. Would go 20 miles or so rafting, stop by a road, and hitch hike back, to where I started from. Funny, the dumb things one can do when your young. I had a 38 revolver, but for big bears, would have been like using a fly swatter. Gold was 32.00 an OZ back then. I did see large quartz gold rock, that had lots of gold on the rock, but back then cost more to process, than the value of the finished processed gold. Headed back to Anchorage, and worked the rest of the summer as a straw boss on fire fighting missions. Would be fun to repeat the trip again, I even think the Alcan has been paved now. Note: Gold Pans are just used to see if Gold is in a stream. To make big money, one needs to set up equipement, etc. AS for the wild oats, women were scarce in Alaska in the 50's. but lots of bears.

Lazerboy: You have a good week-end also. Yes, would like to go back and redo it.
After coming back from Alaska, joined the Air Force. After training, was assigned, (Guess where) back to Alaska. Eilson AFB, 17 miles out of Fairbanks. The base had U-2's B-1 bombers, and delta dart fighters on base. Spent most of my winter months, at the ski lodge on Base. After 18 months became a pretty fair skier.
We all make choices, some good, some bad. Never forget the bus ride from Illinois to Seattle. Was riding with this little fox, and in the middle of Montana, she got up, and told the bus driver where to stop. She said she owned a ranch, and lived by herself, that I could stay a few days if I liked. Still could kick myself for not getting off the bus with her. But had to get to Seattle for the Air Force flight to Fairbanks.
One always wonders what your life would have been like, by just making a choice, good or bad. To take the road forking left, or to take the road forking to the right.

Whats in your pocket? Never know, you may have a valuable coin in your pocket. www.goldstockcenter.com/index2.htmNote: some things posted, do not relate to CMKX, but in general about money. So, maybe it does relate in around about way. Don't you need a little rest from continued CMKX concerns, or expections, or wondering?

Thinking about diamonds, I reflected back to the days in Vietnam, where I was a civilian on contract with the Dept of Defense in 1970. Was based at Chu Lia base, which bordered on the China Sea. One could lay on the beach, and reach over and pick up small rubbies, just laying there.
Started collecting them, and have a small jar of these rubbies, plus some garnets.
Had a little movie camera, and took lots of film, and wish I had that film today. The problem, was put in a box in an attic, and when I sold the house and moved, forgot about the rolls of film.
No, never found any diamonds over there.
